Why I Chose My Project
My name is Isabelle Hanley and for my senior project I shadowed a speech therapist, worked at Roland Green, and learned ASL
I was inspired to pursue speech therapy for my senior project because I have an interest in majoring in that in college. I wanted to learn more about not only speech therapy but also why people have speech therapy, what a speech therapist does, and how it can help people with disabilities. I also was inclined to pursue this for my project because am currently very invested in my schools Best Buddies chapter and wanted to learn more about disability support services.
